2019 Application, Registration, and Cancellation Policy


TransFormation Danse is an annual contemporary dance intensive event for professional dancers, teachers, choreographers, movement artists and emerging professionals. We do not hold traditional auditions but we do require that artists have professional experience, have graduated or are currently enrolled in their last year of a recognized dance or circus training institution.


Application and registration requirements :

  • Updated CV and/or short video link attached to registration form or emailed to marilyne@dansealacarte.com with the header: "TF supporting documents".


​Registration fees :

  • To complete the registration process, participants must submit the following registration fees: $20 administration fee and a deposit equal to 30% of their total workshop balance. In the case of cancellation, the registration fee (30% deposit and administrative fee) is non-refundable.

Cancellation and reimbursement policy before May 20th, 2019 :

  • In the case of a full cancellation, the participants will be reimbursed workshop fees minus the registration fees.

  • Reimbursements for cancellations occurring before the beginning of the workshop will be refunded exclusively on April 12th and May 17th, 2019.

Cancellation and reimbursement policy after May 20th, 2019 :

  • No reimbursement will be possible except in the case of a force majeure, invalidity, or severe illness. Danse à la Carte requires written proof before authorising any reimbursement.

  • For complete or partial cancellation in the case of a force majeure, reimbursement will be emitted for workshop hours not attended starting from the moment a written cancellation is received by the organisers of the workshop. For reimbursement, the notice must be submitted within a minimum of 12 hours before the class. A medical Doctor’s note is required for invalidity or severe illness and reimbursement will be issued for workshop hours as of the date of the official Doctor’s note.

  • Reimbursement for cancellations during the workshop will be refunded exclusively on June 21st, 2019.

Payment dates :

  • Second installment (30%): April 13th, 2019

  • Final installment (40%): May 11th, 2019

Generalities :

  • No change of schedule is permitted unless authorised by the event organizers.

  • Changes that are authorized by the event organizers are subject to the application of an additional administrative fee of $20.

  • No classes can be transferred to another participant.

  • All injuries must be immediately reported to the organizers of the event and participants must complete a report of the event.

  • Participants are aware of the physical risks of doing the workshop and know their medical history. With this in mind, it is the responsibility of the participant to choose classes that respect their physical limits. At all times, participants can decide not to do a certain movement or sequence.
